Capsicum Paneer Bindi Fry Recipe

Ingredients

Bindi/Ladies finger - 200gms (chopped)
Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
Paneer - 100gms (sliced)
Red chilli powder - 1tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1/4tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Oil -1tbsp
Mustard seeds - few
Cumin Seeds - 1/2tsp
Chana dal - 1/2tsp
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Turmeric Powder - a pinch
curry leaves - few
hing powder - a pinch

Method to prepare capsicum paneer bindi fry:

1. Heat oil in pan and add bindi to fry for some minutes and keep it aside. Repeat the same for Paneer and capsicum.

2. Take the same pan, add few oil and add mustard seeds to crackle. Add cumin seeds, chana dal, curry leaves and fry it.

3. Add onion and fry till it gets golden brown colour. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and fry it till it all gets mixed well.

4. Now add the vegetables to it and mix thoroughly. Adjust salt.

5. If needed sprinkle little water and close the pan with a lid. Let it get cooked well for 10minutes.

6. Add paneer slices and allow it to cook for few more minutes. Hot capsicum paneer bindi fry is ready.

Eeya Chombu Paruppu Rasam Recipe

Ingredients:

Toor dhal - 1cup
Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
Tomato - 1 small size
Rasam Powder - 1tbsp
Asafoetida - small piece
curry leaves - few
coriander leaves - few
turmeric powder - a pinch
mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
cumin seeds - 1/2tsp
ghee - 1tsp
salt for taste


Method to prepare paruppu rasam:

1. Soak tamarind in small size bowl with water for about an hour. If you need to rush, then use hot water and soak for about 15mins.

2. Pressure cook toor dhal for about 3-4whistles. Once it is cooled, mash it and keep it aside.

3. Take the eeya chombu (nothing but a vessel), add filtered tamarind juice, turmeric powder, chopped tomato, rasam powder , asafoetida, salt and allow it to boil for about 10 minutes.

4. Once the raw smell of rasam powder & tamarind is gone, add mashed dal into it.

5. Make the gas stove simmer, and wait till the foam begins to develop. It should not get boiled and you will feel nice aroma of paruppu rasam. Thats when you have to switch off the stove.

6. Take a pan and add ghee, once heated add mustard seeds to crackle.

7. Then add cumin seeds to get roasted followed by curry leaves. Add this on top of rasam and garnish with coriander leaves.

8. Tasty paruppu rasam is ready. Serve with hot rice.

Paneer 65 Recipe

Paneer 65

Ingredients:

Paneer - 250gms
Corn flour - 3tbsp
Rice flour- 1tbsp
Maida/All purpose flour - 1 1/2tbsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/4tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1tbsp
Tomato Sauce - 1/2tsp
Chaat Masala Powder - 1/4tsp
Oil for frying
Salt - as required


Method to prepare Paneer 65

1. Take a medium size bowl and add all the ingredients except paneer & oil.

2. Mix all the ingredients and add sufficient amount of water to make as a thick paste.

3. Now add the chopped paneer into the paste and mix thoroughly. Keep it aside for 10minutes.

4. Take a pan and heat oil in it. Once the oil gets heated, put the paneer pieces row by row.

5. Fry the paneer till it gets golden brown colour. Do not overfry as it may lose its flavour/taste.

6. Garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle some lemon juice on top of it

7. Paneer 65 is ready for evening snacks. Try out this easy recipe in your home and enjoy.
