TOMATO COCONUT RAITA RECIPE


Tomato Coconut raita is deliciously made with curd, tomato and coconut  seasoned with a tempering of mustard seeds, fresh coriander leaves and spiced with some green chilies. tamatar ka raita is generally served with rice and roties. Learn how to make tomato coconut raita.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2 - 3 people

Ingredients:

2 cups plain curd / dahi
1 cup tomatoes (finely chopped)
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
1 tsp ginger (grated)
1/2 tsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1 green chili (finely chopped)

How To Make Tomato coconut Raita:

    Mix the tomatoes, coconut and ginger. Add some salt to it and mix it well.
    Heat oil in frying pan, add mustard seeds. When they start to pop add the green chili and fry for few   seconds.
    Pour the above seasoning over tomato and coconut mixture.
    Add the yogurt/dahi/curd and mix it well.
    Serve it with roti or rice.
